Yasi: You are listening to a Fast track podcast, the place to be to fast-track your personal finance or fast-track your business, or both through a series of conversations with those who have learned it, done it and made it.
2020 has almost passed and I cannot leave it. It feels like this year has passed so far.
Maybe, because there was so many challenge, things happened and I’ve never experienced so many challenging moments in such a short period of time. And on the other hand, I have grown out of it. And also I learned a lot this year. So in this solo episode, I’m going to share with you three key lessons I learned this year.
And some of you might share the same feelings. And the first lesson I learned is the importance of finding your tribe. Have you ever experienced that when you share your plans or ideas with your friends to might give you different feedbacks? Some I think, oh, your plans, your ideas are too unrealistic.
And some, I think, oh, you should go for it. So if you have friends who make you think your plans or ideas are too unrealistic, you might start to doubt yourself instead of going for it. And this is exactly why I think finding like-minded people is important. Finding like-minded people who can lift you up instead of putting you down, when you share your dreams and goals with them, no matter how ambitious they seem to be right now with the right group, you have a much higher chance to achieve them.
And this was also one of the reasons I started this podcast, because many of you might not be able to find your tribes or like-minded people around you or mentors through the podcast. I can bring. Various backgrounds and share the experiences are how they achieve success in certain areas so that you can learn from them and use it to improve your life.
Be it your financial situation, your career progression, or your business. So I hope if you have not listened to all the episodes, there are some really amazing conversations and you can look him back on Spotify or on fast track.life and they were all there. So you can. Listen to whatever episode that interests you.
And then the second lesson I learned this year is to be financially responsible. And we learned how to find a good jobs. We, we learned that we need to have good educations, but we never learned how to manage the money we earned. It is like a feeling of bucket with holes. And if we don’t know where are the hosts and how to seal them, the money we earned will pass by us and we keep nothing.
And this is experimentally important when achieving financial independence, if it’s your goal, because while we have a. If you are not paid from next day on words, will you still go to work every single day? Those are very valid questions. Think about it. And achieving financial independence means that you can work for farm, not for the money.
Maybe you were, do something different or the same. But you know that with, or without job, your life goes on as per usual, and you have the choices. And this year I learned to be financially responsible for my future self and build healthy money habits, because I know that globally, a lot of people who lost their jobs and also a lot of people are experiencing difficult financial situation and they might not have emergency fund, might not have investments.
They might not have passive income. And I think those. Knowledge should be learned by every single person. So this year, my goal is also try to be financially responsible and also to help more people understand how to manage their own money. So now with the new initiative, Every Wednesday, I’m partnering with a financial Imagineer to talk about everything, about money.
So you can learn how to manage your own money and make it work for you. And you can join the conversation as well. All sorts of knowledge about how to manage your money, how to increase your income and how to invest if 2021 increase your personal net worth or improve your financial situation is one of your goals.
You should join the conversation and I will leave the YouTube channel link in the show notes, be sure to join us every Wednesday. And also of course you can watch the replay. The third lesson I learned this year is to take care of my body and to not take it for granted after experiencing major health crisis within the family and myself.
And also the global pandemic. I realized that how important our health is. And I took it for granted, as I thought I was still young and jet-lagged, but our body is more fragile than what we think a healthy looking person, my suffer from unpredictable disease. And this happens all the time. So what you can do.
Is to not take it for granted it healthy food workout regularly and appreciate the life that you can enjoy with a healthy body. So this year I picked up my workouts habits again, and I also started meditation routine with those two. I feel mentally and physically stronger and healthier. We only miss something when we don’t have it, but when we have a healthy body, we don’t take care of it.
And this is a mistake. Many of us make we take health for granted. So I hope starting from today. When you hear this episode reflect on your own lifestyle, have you taken care of your body and your mind, if not start to take action. And 2020 taught me so many lessons, this three other ones I want to share with you because they make an impact in my life.
